New 3000m PB for Kevin Mulcaire

It was wonderful to see the red and white of Ennis Track at Cork City Sports tonight. Laura Power ran her Junior Ladies 1500m in a time of 5:11.22, while Sean Collins covered the Junior Men’s 1500m in 4:06.30, coming in 8th overall. Then it was all eyes on Kevin Mulcaire in the final race of the night, which saw him knock almost 9 seconds off his PB for the 3000 m. Watch Ennis Track Athletes at Cork City Sports

Three of our finest will be in action tonight in the Cork City Sports Track and Field event. First up will be Laura Power in the 1500m Junior Women’s event at 6:30 p.m. Next, Sean Collins will be competing in the 1500m Junior Men’s race, starting at 6:40 p.m. Finally, in the last event of the night, Kevin Mulcaire will face an international field in the Men’s  3000m  (starting 8:50 p.m.).
