Munster U9-U11 and Juvenile Walk Indoor Championships

took place today at the Nenagh Olympic Stadium Nenagh, Co. Munster Schools XC 2020

All Ireland B’s – Well done Aimee, Sarah, Donal & Liam

The All Ireland Bs were held in Rathdrum in Co. Wicklow where Aimee, Sarah, Donal and Liam took part.  Aimee Barrett who has worked so hard over the past few weeks finished an excellent 7th. Sarah Crowe ran in the U11. Donal Devane has won the 1st ever individual medal at an All Ireland Novice and Intermediate XC in another super race finishing 3rd in Intermediate.  Congratulations to each of them.

The Munster Star Awards Banquet was held last night at the Tower Hotel, Waterford. Ennis Track Athletic Club picked up the Indoor Masters, Juvenile Cross Country and Senior X Country & Road award. Two Ennis Track Athletes Ava Rochford won the Indoor & Track & Field Award and Dean Casey the Juvenile Cross Country Award. Another Clare athlete Noah McConway won the Indoor & Track & Field Award. Cathal Crosbie U23 Mens 400m Champion

A great picture by Sam Barnes of Cathal Crosbie celebrating winning the U23 Men’s 400m in 48.33, ahead of Cathal Locke of Dooneen A.C., Limerick, during the Irish Life Health National Indoor Junior and U23 Championship. Some other athletes taking part were: Mark Hanrahan who took 4th in the Junior 1500m race in 4:08.54 and Jo Keane was 5th in the U23 1500m.  Noah McConway finished 8th & 5th respectively in the Junior High Jump & Triple Jump.
