SIAB T&F Championships

Congratulations to Mark Hanrahan on his 3000m race today in the S.I.A.B Track &Field representing St Flannans.  He completed the race in a time of 9:10.19. Congratulations toChisom Ugwuers who completed her 80 mH in 12.17 e would like to wish Chisom Ugwueru who is taking part in 80m H and Mark Hanrahan who is taking part in the 3000m the very best of luck.  They will represent their school St. Flannans at the  upcoming SIAB Track and Field Championships taking place on Saturday 20th July in Swansea, Wales.

Ennis Track Athletes shine at T&F

Today at the Juvenile T&F Championships our Ennis Track Athletes were super.  Niall Murphy came 2nd, Mark Hanrahan 1st, Ava Rochford 1st, Neasa NihAinfein 4th, and Laura Healy 6th.  Fantastic achievements and congratulations to all. Double Gold for Ava

Ava Rochford took double gold today in Tullamore for the All Ireland Juvenile Championships Day 1. In sweltering summer sunshine Ava got her day off to a fantastic start claiming first spot in the 80m hurdles holding off Victoria Amiadamen from Dooneen in a very close race. Next up was the high jump and Ava was a clear winner going on to jump 1.64m. She came very close with her record attempts at 1.68 but just missed out.

Two National Medals

Great news today at the Irish Life & Health U20 & U23 Athletics Championships where Jo Keane in an exciting Junior Women’s 800m race finished 2nd in a time of 2:11.56 and Cathal Crosbie in the U23 Mens 200m finished 3rd with a super time of 21.89. Jo and Cathal will be going forward to the Junior & U23 European Championships in the next few weeks and we would like to wish them all the best.
