There is absolutely no words to describe the utter joy, jubilation and delight last Sunday morning when all eyes were focused on the ECCC in Oeiras to see Ennis Track AC crowned European Clubs Cross Country Champions. What a marvelous day, so many athletes of all ages turning out to take part in our annual Open Sports Day.  It was a treat to see so many athletic clubs participating today, encouraging athletes of all ages to take part in track and field events, giving it their best and contributing to a very successful day.  We had lots of clubs from Cork, Galway, Limerick, Kerry and Clare. A true test of cross country athletes today in Navan for the Novice & Juvenile Uneven Age Championships amid the rain and status orange wind warning, and each and every single athlete ran fantastic.  Ennis Track is very very proud of all our athletes.
