Ennis Track was well represented at the Munster U9-U13 Track & Field Championships with a team of 18 boys and girls. Over the 2 days of competition there were some outstanding results. Full results can be viewed here, but following are some of the Ennis Track results:
Team (U9-U11) Results
- Ellen Mannion and Aisling Moloney won the U11 girls 600m team event with a combined time of 4:03.48s.
- Ava Rochford and Aisling Moloney won gold in the U11 girls turbo javelin with a combined distance of 35.80m.
- Sean Frawley and Eoin Ryan placed silver in the boys U10 team long jump with a combined distance of 6.88m.
- Samuel Olaoye and Martin Frawley won gold in the U11 boys 600m with a combined time of 3:51.10s.
Individual Results
- Mollie Pike was 11th in the 500m and 15th in the turbo javelin.
- Ellen Mannion was 3rd in the U11 600m with a time of 1:59.77s.
- Aisling Maloney was 9th in the U11 600m and 3rd in the turbo javelin with a throw of 17.11m.
- Ava Rochford was 4th in the U11 long jump with 3.43m and 2nd in the turbo javelin with 18.69m.
- Elise Ryan was 11th in the U11 turbo javelin.
- Sammie Ojulari was 7th in the U12 girls 60m in 9.29s.
- Neasa Ní hAinféin was 8th in the U12 600m in 1:59.61s.
- Ailbhe Doherty had a great day, bringing home gold in the U13 600m (1:42.84s) and silver in the 80m sprint (10.85s).
- Rachel Adesiyan was 5th in the U13 80m in 10.93s.
In the boys U10 60m, Sean Frawley was 8th in 9.49s, while he secured 2nd place in the long jump with a jump of 3.64m.
- Eoin Ryan was 16th in the long jump with a jump of 3.24m.
- Samuel Olaoye was 8th in the U11 60m in a time of 9.00s and 4th in the 600m in 1:52.42.
- Martin Frawley was 13th in the 600m and 9th in the long jump with a jump of 3.73m.
- Thomas McGuire and Eoin Lahiffe were 15th and 16th in the U11 600m.
- Colin Ryan was 4th in his U12 long jump with jump of 4.10m.
- Efe Opuoro was 13th in the U12 60m and 19th in the long jump.
- Finally, Mark Hanrahan was 5th in the U13 600m with a time of 1:46.98s.
