Day 2 & 3 of the Glo Health Junvenile Track & Field

Impressive performances by  Ennis Track Athletic Club at GloHealth Juvenile Track & Field National Finals.

Day 2 & 3 of the Glo Health Junvenile Track & Field Championships took place  in Tullamore last weekend which saw impressive performances by Ennis Track Athletics.

Ailbhe O’Doherty successful season continued with a win in the U14 girls 200m  (26.13).  On Saturday, Tony Odubote was first past the post in the U17 boys 400m (50.03).  While on Sunday he won silver in the u17 boys 200m(22.22).   Eimear McDonald finished out her busy season with a bronze medal in U18 girls 3000m (10.42).  Shawn Benson,  took silver in boys u17 300mh (41.78) and a bronze medal in the Boys U17 100m.       Mark Hanrahan put in a good performance in the  U14 boys 1500m and took a silver medal  in a time of 4.35. Ava Rochford continued her success in field events  for the Ennis Track, by taking silver medal in the U12  girls shot putt with a throw of 8.67m. Other club athletes  that took part over the weekend were, Stephen Maher, Patrick O Rourke, Ellie Pike, Chisom Ugwuera and Aisling Maloney.
