The full results are up, super performances from our athletes have led to medals galore for club and county. U10 Girls Gold for Club and County with 4 Ennis Track girls coming in the top 10 – 2nd Faye Mannio; 5th Sophie Maher;
9th Katie Troy, 10th Aisling Kelly. Our U10 Boys finished 10th overall, but Ryan Kelly finished 9th and secured a gold medal for County.
In our U12 Boys Ben O’Halloran finished 2nd overall but with a fantastic team around him Ennis Track secured 1st in Club Team 2, 13, 23, 28, overall total of 66 edging out West Waterford A.C.3, 9, 16, 39, by a single point 67. Proof that every place counts in athletics. Cork claimed gold by pipping Clare by a single point in the County Team by 62 to 63 points.
In the U14 Girls Ennis Track came 4th in the Club with Avril Lilis coming 12th, 22, 23, 27, total of 84 points, with a County Team Silver medal. In the U14 Boys Ennis Track Club came away with Silver with Thomas Mcguire 12th followed closely by Ronan Walsh in 15th, 26, 33, a total of 86 points. Clare claimed bronze in the County Team Points.
Our U16 Girls showed Neasa Niainifein finished 5th overall giving Ennis Track A.C. a bronze medal 5, 26, 27, 29 totaling 87 points. A silver County Medal for Clare. Our U16 Boys as on lady mentioned on the day “the team that has gotten Gold since U10” 1st Mark Hanrahan Ennis Track, 2nd Dean Casey, 3rd Dylan Casey, 18th Matthew Power
20th Colin Ryan, 25th Conor Shanahan, 39 Conor Faulkner, 50 Finn Kelleher, 52 Jack Power Ennis Track A.C. Clare. This secured a Gold for Club 1 Ennis Track A.C. 1, 2, 3, 18= 24 followed by a silver for Thurles Crokes A.C.12, 22, 24, 26= 84. The Gold was given to Clare 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 15 = 31 with a Silver for Waterford for 75 points.
In the U18 Girls Laura Healy came 4th and Leah O’Neill came 9th. In the U18 Boys Jamie Kelly came 7th. Ennis Track Club secured a silver 7, Ben Deasy 13th, Padraig Cahill 19, Fiachra O’Hainifein 35th followed closely by Jason O’Regan Ennis Track A.C. Clare 36.
The Ennis Track Novice Women are Munster Champions with Laura Chesser 9th, Ann Marie Connellan 10th, Mary Cahill 11th and Siobhan Lennon 19th. A Silver in the County Team Points of 33 points.
