Fantastic news last night from the big 12 indoor championships in Texas, Jo Keane was part of the winning DMR team. The DMR is a race that consists of 1200m/400m/800m/1600m.
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team took part in the 2021 Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championship, on Friday night, in Lubbock, Texas.
The Mountaineers secured first-place finish in a time of 11:21,35 ahead of 2nd place finishers in a time of 11:21.42. This distance medley relay team consisted of Junior Hayley Jackson, Junior Tessa Constantine, Redshirt Freshman Ceili McCabe and our own Freshman Jo Lauren Keane.
Jo is in super form where 2 hours earlier she competed in the 2nd heat of the 800m and finished 3rd which automatically qualifies her for the final today. We wish her the very best of luck and congratulations to her and her teammates.
