Athlone was where all the action was today for Day 2 of the Irish Life Health Juvenile Indoor Championship. There was everything from high jump, pole vaulting, jumps, to 60m, middle distance and walks. Well done to all who took part. Thank you Ben Deasy for these great pictures.
Chisom Ugwuera in the U17 Girls Long Jump came 2nd in 5.01. Ailbhe Doherty in the U16 Girls 60m came 5th in 7.96. Ava Rochford in the U14 Girls High Jump came 1st in 1.60 just barely missing out on a record at 1.63. Ben Deasey in the U18 Boys 1500m came 6th in 4.10. Gabriel Kehinde in the U18 Boys 60m came 3rd in 7.10. Shawn Benson in the U19 Boys 60m came 2nd in 7.06. A super performance by all of them.
