Also flying the flag for Clare at the National Indoors were Damien Landers and Kevin Chesser, both of whom qualified for the final in a hotly contested 1500m. They finished a very creditable 7th and 10th, respectively, with times of 3:59.29 (Damien) and 4:03.68 (Kevin).
