Juvenile Training Resumes

Juvenile training resumes in Lees Rd for the new cross-country season on Monday August 28th from 6 to 7pm and on Friday September 1st also from 6 to 7pm. There will also be a session on Sunday mornings at 10 am in Lees Road. Training is for all children of age 7 and over. Please wear suitable running shoes. Fleadh 5 Mile Results

Well done to all who participated in the Ennis Track Fleadh 5 mile, which took place on Saturday morning in perfect conditions. The course was around lovely quiet country roads with some nice hills for those who like a challenge! Thanks to all who helped out. World Championships

Many club members travelled to London in the past week to watch the IAAF World Athletics Championships in London. It was an unfortunate championships for the Irish team who were hit by more than a fair share of sickness and injury. Nevertheless, Irish supporters were there in good numbers each night in the stadium and were very noticeable lining the streets with tricolours for the marathons and race walks. One such young supporter was Amy Ryan of Ennis Track. Amy is pictured above proudly displaying the Ennis Track banner in the Olympic Stadium last week.
