Cathal Crosbie took the bronze medal in the 400m final by a hair – not only were 1st and 2nd place a dead heat but so were 3rd and 4th. Cathal finished in 47.47. A superb performance 1st Christopher ODonnell North Sligo 47.05 2nd Harry Purcell Trim AC 47.09 3rd Cathal Crosbie 47.47 4th Andrew Mellon Crusaders AC 47.47

In a time of 16.13. In the men’s 3000m Rory Chesser came 3rd in a time of 9:24.85. Brian Fay of Rainey Shamrock Ac came 2nd with a time of 9:02.42. The 1st place went to Jayme Rossiter of Clonliffe Harriers in a time of 8:59.42. Very well done to Rory and Donal In heat 2 Cathal Crosbie came 1st in his heat with a qualifying time of 48.32, his final will be later this evening. We wish him the best of luck. Congratulations and well done to all involved.
