There were eight Ennis Track athletes in contention at the GloHealth National Junior and U23 Championships in Tullamore on Sunday.
- Jemil Saidi was 6th in the Junior Men’s triple jump with a jump of 12.40m;
- Jemil also competed in the Junior Men’s 400m, coming 4th in his heat in a time of 52.84s.
- In the Women’s U23 800m, Niamh Markham took silver with a time of 2:17.04
- In the Men’s U23 800m, Darragh Lynch was 4th with a time of 1:57.98
- Kevin Mulcaire was the outright winner of the Junior Men’s 1500m with a time of 4:08.69
- Sean Collins was 5th in same race in a time of 4:08.69.
- In the Men’s U23 1500 m Kevin Chesser was 4th in a time of 4:02.41.
- Patrick Chesser finished 3rd in the Junior Men’s 5000m with a time of 16:25.98
- Karl Fitzmaurice won gold in the U23 5000m in a time of 16:29.06.
