The final Cross Country race of 2014 took place in Clonlohan, Newmarket on Fergus. It was a very good underfoot course but an undulating and testing one for all the young athletes. Ennis Track competed very well with the following teams medaling;
- U8 Girls – 2nd (Ciara Frawley, Blaithin Barry, Emma Masterson, Amy Ryan)
- U8 Boys – 1st ((Joe Mannion, Ben O Halloran, Cillian Hayes, Adon O Lachtnain, James Rochford)
- U10 Girls – 1st ((Molly Pike, Aisling Moloney, Ruth Leyden, Neasa Ni Lachtnain)
- U10 Boys – 1st ((Thomas Mc Guire, Eoin Lahiffe, Cian O Dell, Ian Williams )
- U10 Boys -3rd ((Daire Connolly, Paddy Nagle, Martin Frawley, Luke Aherne)
- U12 Girls – 1st ((Aoife Anderson, Ellie Pike, Ava Carey, Roisin Cahill )
- U12 Boys – 2nd ((Dylan Casey, Dean Casey, Matthew Power, Mark Hanrahan )
- U14 Girls -2nd ((Chisom Ugwuera, Elise Mulcaire, Jennifer Whelan, Orla Vaughan )
- U14 Boys – 2nd ((Padraig Cahill, Ben Deasy, Evan Aherne, Scott O Grady )
Congratulations also to the Ennis Track competitors in the Novice B and Junior Men’s Races. 1st across the line was Jamie Roache to claim the junior title and Patrick Chesser to claim the Novice B. Ennis Track teams came 1st and 3rd in the Novice B race whilst the junior team came first.
