Ennis Track Club Annual Turkey Trot (4 miles & 2 miles Fun Run, Jog or Walk) took place on St. Stephens Day at Ballyea Community Centre. Our Charity this year was St Vincent de Paul Society. Donation has been given to the Society’s Christmas Appeal

Turkey Trot Proceeds to Cuan An Chlair

Ennis Track Athletic club was thrilled to present all the proceeds of the annual Turkey Trot 2014 to Cuan An Chláir and to be playing our part in such a worthwhile project. Cuan an Chlair aim to build and run a Day Care Centre and sheltered housing for the elderly of Ennis and its environs. Vera Dullaghan, our Treasurer made the presentation of the tidy sum of €1,300 recently. (see attached photos).

Donation to Ballyea NS

Proceeds of our December ‘Turkey Trot’ were last week presented to Ballyea National School. The cheque was presented to the principle of Ballyea school, Martin McMahon. Also pictured are Helen McMahon, teacher, Tommy Dullaghan, Ennis Track, and Gerry Hayes, Ennis Track AC.
