Real Cross Country weather greeted our athletes at the Munster even ages in Beufort in Kerry. Whilst the course itself was flat torrential rain and driving winds made it difficult running conditions, especially for the earlier races. It was a first Munsters for many of our young athletes and they acquitted themselves very well in the boys and girls under 9. Ben O Halloran was the star of the day displaying courageous front running winning with great style. He led his team mates to 2nd place in the team race. Other notable races was the u13 boys and u13 girls with both teams winning gold. The under 15 boys finished in 2nd place with a good run from Ben Deasy who finished 7th overall. Donal Devine ran a very steady race finishing in 4th place leading his time home in the gold position in the boys u17. Next fixture is the All Irelands.
