At the recent All-Ireland Junior & U23 Track & Field Championships in Santry, Darragh Lynch had an outstanding performance winning him the bronze medal in the U23 Mens 1500m. His time of 3:59.38 was a new PB. Meanwhile his club mates Sean Collins and Laura Power put in solid performances with Sean coming fourth in the Junior 3000m steeplechase in a time of 10:17.17, while Laura was 7th in the Junior Ladies 1500m in a time of 4:55.07. Well done to all three, and watch this space – there’s lots more to come from these fine young athletes.
