All Ireland Masters Championship were held in Tullamore on Sunday 2nd July.
Highlights
Ladies
- Mary Cahill (O40) won a silver medal in the long jump, was 5th in the 800m, and 5th in the 400m.
- Ann Marie Connellan was 6th in the 3000m.
- Lorraine Hayes competed in the shot putt.
- Helen O’Hanlon (O50) was 6th in the 100m.
- Marian O’Loughlin (O60) was 4th in the 100m and 5th in the 800m.
Men
- Martin Curley (O35) won a bronze medal in the 110m hurdles, was 7th in the discus and 4th in the high jump.
- John Murphy (O50) won a silver medal in the long jump and was 8th in the 400m.
- John Power (O50) was 8th in the 100m and 7th in the 200m.
- John Boyle (O50) won a bronze medal in the long jump, was 8th in the 200m, 9th in the 400m and also competed in the high jump.
- David Courtney (O50) won a bronze medal in the discus.
- Mike Clune (O55) won a bronze medal in the 5000m and a silver in the long jump.
- Jimmy Doyle (O55) was 6th in the 1500m.
- Sean Whelan (O65) was 6th in the 5000m.
