Ennis Track men and ladies athletes have certainly made their presence felt across the counties over the Easter. An indication of what was to come was evident in the large turnout for (Holy) Thursday night training in Kilnaboy to run the 10 Mile course. It was raining, which blocked out the scenery. Congratulations to all the Ennis Track Athletes who took part in the National Indoor Masters in Athlone last weekend (15th March). In the O35 Long Jump, Mary Cahill won silver, while Helen O’Hanlon was 2nd in the 800m and 3rd in the 1500m. Alex Conway was 3rd in the 60m and 60 m hurdles O45, while Ennis Track stalwart Sean Whelan was 2nd in the O65 800m. Also representing their club were John Murphy, Pat Morrissey and Martin Curley.
