Hike to Burren Lough Avalla Farm loop

For any Ennis Track adult members who are interested there will be a hike to the Burren Lough Avalla Farm loop next Wednesday July 8th. Will leave from Shiels garage at 6pm sharp. Wear suitable clothes etc, for further details email Michael at m.mcbride2007@yahoo.com The farm walk will take about two hours taking time to check out the holy well and to stop for a cup of tea about half way around so bring a flask and a small snack. Barry Coughlan Memorial Open Sports

Ennis Track will host the Barry Coughlan Memorial Open Sports on Sunday, April 6th 2014. The event will take place at the Lees Road Sports Facility, Drumcliffe Road, Ennis and will start @ 12 noon sharp. Admission: Adult, €3; Child, €3; Age 5 & under go free and entry fee includes all race entries.

Santa’s Visit: Friday 13th, 6pm, CBS Hall

Santa will visit the boys and girls of Ennis Track on Friday 13th December at the CBS Hall in Ennis from 6pm to 9pm. There will be no juvenile training on the day. It’s a great chance to have some fun with your running pals before the Christmas break-up. There will be a fantastic disco, so bring your best moves and show Mum and Dad how it’s done! Annual St Stephen’s Day Turkey Trot

Our yearly ‘Turkey Trot’ will take place as usual in Ballyea on the 26th December. The walkers will set off at 12.30, while the runners begin at 1pm. All proceeds from the event will go towards the playground at Ballyea National School. A worthy cause, and a great way to run off the Christmas excess! [spacer style=”3″] [spacer style=”3″]
