The middle-distance squad has been training since the end of \u00a0August\u00a0preparing for the All-Ireland club \u00a0cross-country.\u00a0These events \u00a0will take place on November 27th and December 11th.<\/p>\n

Most of the training has taken place in \u00a0St Flannans’ College, Lees\u00a0Road and Ballygriffey field.\u00a0There has been upwards of\u00a040 athletes some evenings at training.\u00a0We have been blessed with good weather and everyone is \u00a0in good\u00a0spirits as a result.<\/p>\n

\"IMG_5606\"<\/a>All the coaches are happy with the effort that \u00a0the athletes are making.\u00a0We have had success at County level and Regional level and the final\u00a0qualifier will take place at Limerick Racecourse on November 13th.<\/p>\n

During the midterm , we had a fun day on Lahinch beach, running,\u00a0volleyball, soccer, a team challenge, predicted 800m effort where\u00a0Damien Landers won the Mega prize and lots and lots of food.<\/p>\n

Fingers crossed that all athletes \u00a0will remain injury and illness free\u00a0for the next 6\/7 weeks.<\/p>\n
