Damien Landers qualified from his heat in the 1500m without trouble on Day 1 of the competition. Jemil Saidi battled bravely in the 200m heat in a time of 23.75, but unfortunately did not qualify from his heat, no doubt he will be back stronger again. Kevin Chesser ran a solid 3000 m on day 2 of the competition in a time of 8.44.38. A p.b. for him. He finished tenth in the race. Damien Landers was the star of the Ennis Track athletes as he claimed a bronze medal in the 1500 m. It was a very tactical race and Lander&#8217;s showed his natural finishing speed to hold off the competition.
