Having qualified as an individual or as part of a team that medaled reaching the All Irelands in itself is a huge achievement.<br \/>\nEnnis Track secured a number of individual medals and team medals. One or two of teams missed out medaling by a few points thus proving the old saying that &#8220;every place counts&#8221; and more importantly that every runner counts. These teams have huge potential and are already looking forward to future competitions. Many of our athletes also scored for Munster and the County team.<br \/>\n<strong>Results<\/strong><br \/>\nU12 Boys Team &#8211; Gold 1st Club<br \/>\nU12 Girls Team &#8211; Silver 2nd Club<br \/>\nU16 Boys Team &#8211; Gold 1st Club<\/p>\n<p><strong>Individual Placing<\/strong><br \/>\nu12 boys &#8211; Mark Hanrahan 8th, 11th Dylan Casey;<br \/>\nU12 Girls &#8211; Ellie Pike 12th;<br \/>\nU14 Boys &#8211; Cian McDonagh 10th;<br \/>\nU18 Boys &#8211; Kevin Mulcaire 1st;<br \/>\nU23 Men Dara Chessor 4th place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other Notable Performances<\/strong><br \/>\nu14 Girls Elise Mulcaire &amp; Chisom Ugwuera &#8211; County Team 3rd place;<br \/>\nU14 Boys Team came 4th;<br \/>\nu16 Girls Team of Emer Hanrihan, Emer McDonald, Katie Power &amp; Shona Power. Team came 6th;<br \/>\nU18 Girls Grainne Kelly received a Munster team medal;<br \/>\nU18 Boys Team came 4th;<\/p>\n<p>Senior Women &#8211; Anna Crooks, Imogen Cotter, part of the Clare team that came 3rd;<br \/>\nSenior Men &#8211; Rory Chesser 9th place;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Appreciation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Finally, I would like to thank all the club officials for putting a huge amount of work behind the scenes in managing the logistics of the trip to Dundalk ( bus, accommodation, organising meals and also snacks on race day) <span class=\"st\"> \u201cIt requires a <em>huge amount<\/em> of hard <em>work<\/em> to be successful&#8221;.\u00a0 Once again,\u00a0 well done to the athletes and their coaches.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to all our athletes that competed at the All Ireland Cross County Even Ages at Dundalk IT on Sunday 23rd November 2014.
