Wire To Wire Win For Alex O’Neill

Kingston, R.I.­- The Providence College women’s indoor track team competed at the Mackal Field House in Kingston, R.I. on Thursday, Feb. 25. The tri-meet included Providence, Rhode Island and Northeastern. Alex led the 800 m from start to finish finishing in 2:13.38.  Her teammate Halle Atkinson followed her into 2nd place in a time of 2:17.77.  This is two wins in a row for this outstanding athlete.  Congratulations and well done Alex.

Jo Keane Part Of Winning DMR Team

Fantastic news last night from the big 12 indoor championships in Texas, Jo Keane was  part of the winning  DMR team.  The DMR is a race that consists of 1200m/400m/800m/1600m. MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team took part in the  2021 Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championship, on Friday night, in Lubbock, Texas. Running in the first Cross Country Spring Season race, Kevin running for Oklahoma (Cowboys) and his teammates won the Golden Hurricane.  Kevin is as his coach quoted “absolutely stepped up and ran a great race.
